Photography
Almost all of it is phone photography, and I've made peace with that. What I'm actually chasing isn't gear — it's noticing. Light coming through a window at a weird angle, a shadow that lands somewhere interesting, a color combination on a wall that I know I'll want to steal for a project later.
A lot of these photos never go anywhere public. They end up in a folder that's basically a personal mood board — reference for a palette, a layout, a texture I want to remember. Photography and design feel like the same muscle to me: both are about paying attention to things other people walk past.
Lately I've been drawn to architectural details — door handles, staircases, the way signage is laid out in older buildings. Small, unremarkable things that turn out to be full of decisions someone made on purpose.
